Strange Case of the day: 8 Strange Facts about Serial Killer Dennis Nilsen
After I sent last week's newsletter - Life & Death of Serial Killer Dennis Nilsen, I received so many emails of yours to do another piece on him aka the Muswell Hill Murderer. So here you go

8. He sexually fondled his own younger sister and older brother.
7. He used a free-standing mirror where he would create an effect whereby positioning a mirror so his head was out of view - so he could visualise himself engaged in a sexual act with another man. Often termed as 'Split personality'.
6. He said intercourse with a female is both "over-rated" and "depressing".0

5. If his victim had been strangled into unconsciousness, Nilsen then drowned him in his bathtub, his sink or a bucket of water before observing a ritual in which he bathed, clothed and retained the bodies inside his residences for several weeks or, occasionally, months before he dismembered them.
4. Nilsen's second victim was Kenneth Ockenden - they went home and listened to music through a pair of headphones. Later on that evening, he strangled the man with those same headphones; only to sit down afterwards - while Ockenden's dead body lay on the floor and continued listening to music through them.

3. Stephen Sinclair was his last victim. He strangled him with a necktie before bathing his body and applying talcum powder. He then laid Sinclair out on his bed, arranged 3 mirrors around the space, and then fell asleep next to his dead body.
2. He buried his victim's remains under the floorboards of his own bedroom.

1. Police discovered his actions when remnants of his victims blocked the drains.
